Because of our familiarity with diamond tools and the concrete and masonry we cut, Diamond is in an excellent position to help you remove concrete or masonry material.

If you require assistance developing a plan for dismantling a complex concrete structure or need to outsource the labor for removing concrete or masonry material from a small to large job, we can offer you the following:
  • Organized proposal for disassembly and removal of a concrete structure
  • Order of disassembly, section weight, safety considerations and drawing
  • Operators and equipment necessary to saw remove and recycle material

Unlike percussive demolition techniques, we are able to accurately figure piece size and weight and can plan accordingly. If there are dimensional limitations for removing concrete pieces, we can plan for and meet them. If there are weight restrictions, we can do the same. Our operators are experienced in the safe removal and recycling of concrete debris, including the slurry we vacuum which we can contain and dispose of to help prevent environmental contamination.

Project Profile:

Mercy Hospital in Muskegon.
These tunnels served as a fresh air intake for the entire hospital. Percussive demolition was not an option because of noise and vibration concerns. Saw cutting proved to be the safest and least disruptive solution.
